Working with brides for over a decade, I've found that there is always something brides tend to forget for their big day! Don't let wedding brain get you - check out these 4 questions every bride should ask about her wedding...

When Should We Send Out Invitations?

The best time to send out your invitations is around 8-12 weeks before your wedding day. This allows enough time for your guests to plan on attending and for them to RSVP back to you in time. For out of town weddings, it may even be a good idea to send invitations out more than 12 weeks in advance.

Do I need to include a dress code on my wedding invitations?

If you have a specific  style of dress that prefer to have on your special day, it's perfectly alright to say so on your invites! The trick is to have a dress code that's easily understood.  Most guests will understand terms like "Semi-Formal" or "Black-tie", while something like "Barn Chic" will usually lead to follow up questions.

Do We Have to Do Wedding Favors?

Absolutely not! You are already hosting a beautiful party complete with a venue, delicious food, and awesome music. Pro tip: If you are going to do favors, most guests love something edible.

What detail am I forgetting?

One thing I find a lot of brides forget until the final moment is their seating chart. If you are having a large wedding, or want certain people at specific areas of your reception I highly recommend starting your seating chart as soon as you finalize your guest list. The earlier you start the less stress you will have, and of course this is something I can assist you with!
